1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using expertupholds.online (the “Website”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.
“ExpertUpholds,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to ExpertUpholds Carpentry. “You” refers to the person accessing the Website or communicating through it.
2. Website information
The Website provides general information about potential carpentry service categories, project planning considerations, and an enquiry method. Content is not architectural, engineering, structural, code, permit, legal, tax, insurance, safety, or other professional advice.
Examples, descriptions, materials, methods, and process steps may not be appropriate for your property or jurisdiction. Site conditions, building rules, code requirements, product specifications, and professional responsibilities must be assessed for the actual project.
3. Enquiries, availability, and estimates
Submitting or sending an enquiry is a request for contact only. It does not:
- guarantee a response time, consultation, site visit, availability, price, schedule, or acceptance of work;
- confirm that your location is within a service area;
- create a duty to perform services;
- reserve production, installation, or calendar time; or
- authorize purchasing, fabrication, demolition, construction, installation, or other work.
Any preliminary discussion, range, budget indication, or estimate remains subject to stated assumptions, review of the project, and any later written terms. A final price may change if the scope, site conditions, selections, responsibilities, access, law, taxes, or other relevant facts differ from the assumptions.
4. Separate project agreements
Actual work must be governed by a separate written proposal, contract, work order, or other agreement accepted by the relevant parties (“Project Agreement”). The Project Agreement should address the applicable scope, price or pricing method, payment schedule, start or completion expectations, access, materials, changes, cancellation, permits, responsibilities, warranties, dispute terms, and other project-specific matters.
If a Project Agreement conflicts with these website terms on a matter concerning the actual project, the Project Agreement controls for that matter unless it says otherwise. No Website content expands a project warranty or changes an accepted project scope.
You are responsible for reviewing Project Agreement terms, verifying business identity and applicable credentials, and obtaining independent professional advice where appropriate before authorizing work.
5. Images, examples, and references
Images identified as representative, illustrative, conceptual, design direction, or similar are not documentary evidence of completed client projects. They may be generated or composed to communicate material, proportion, layout, or general service direction.
Do not rely on illustrative imagery as proof of experience, credentials, authorship, performance, or availability. Request verified references and project-specific information as part of your own due diligence.
Natural material color, grain, texture, finish, and scale can differ from screens and illustrative images. Samples and project documents should control actual selections.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the Website only for lawful, personal, and legitimate business-enquiry purposes. You may not:
- interfere with Website operation, security, or access;
- attempt unauthorized access to systems or data;
- introduce malicious code or automated abuse;
- scrape, copy, or republish substantial Website content without permission;
- misrepresent identity or submit unlawful, threatening, infringing, or deceptive content;
- use the Website to send unsolicited marketing or spam; or
- use Website content to imply endorsement, affiliation, credentials, or completed work that does not exist.
7. Intellectual property
The Website’s original text, layout, visual design, branding, and commissioned illustrative images are owned by or licensed to ExpertUpholds Carpentry and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and print reasonable portions for personal evaluation of services. No other license is granted.
Third-party names, tools, services, and marks remain the property of their respective owners. Mention of a third party does not imply endorsement or affiliation.
8. Third-party services and links
The Website may interact with your email application or, if configured and permitted, Google measurement services. It may also link to third-party resources. Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control and are not responsible for their availability, security, content, or conduct.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Website is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, current, or suitable for a particular purpose.
We make reasonable efforts to present clear information but do not promise that all Website content is complete or that all described services are available in every location or at every time. Nothing on the Website is a guarantee of result, durability, code approval, permit issuance, inspection outcome, schedule, price, material availability, or project acceptance.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ExpertUpholds Carpentry and its owners, personnel, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to Website use, inability to use the Website, reliance on general content, or third-party services.
To the extent liability cannot be excluded, total liability arising solely from Website use will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid specifically to use the Website or US $100. This section does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited and does not replace liability terms in an applicable Project Agreement.
11. Your responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the Website, your violation of these terms, or content you knowingly submit in violation of another person’s rights.
12. General terms

Severability
If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue.
No waiver
Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision or any other right.
Governing law and venue
The governing law and dispute forum for Website-only matters will be determined by applicable conflict-of-law rules and the actual business location, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Project disputes are governed by the applicable Project Agreement.
Entire agreement for Website use
